Here are a few more ideas for what to wear to welcome autumn instead of forcing it on too quickly (and being too hot to handle).
1. classy casual: just because you're adding fall layers doesn't mean it has to be complicated. Pair your favorite shorts with a plain white tee and a blazer. Add your fall touches with booties, a cute hat, and (if you want) add some warm color with a bag, nail polish, or lipstick.*
2. comfy cozy: for all the girls out there who love going to class/work feeling like you could still be in bed, these cozy looks are for you. They give you a super soft feel while still looking super cute. Here's where your layers come in. Cardis and flannels make for easy on and offs while the weather is still hot during the day. If you're still too warm, go ahead and wear shorts and a tank or a summer dress, but add a beanie, scarf, or boots to get an autumn appearance.*
3. chic chick: the rich colors and strong silhouettes of fall make looking professional and dressy almost easy. My favorite fall color is oxblood, or deep red. Olive, burnt orange, and browns are also classic fall colors, but don't be afraid to carry your favorite bright colors into fall as well. Tights with shorts give you a fall look while still feeling cool.*
The in-between weather from summer to fall is not always fun to dress for because we're ready for full-on fall air. But don't forget about the fashion season called pre-fall...and be creative and have fun with your looks! and remember...
"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years."
